ZoP Gardening Made Easy with Environmental Friendly Flooded Soil Recovery

Flood is a natural disaster which occurs very often nowadays especially in East Coastal areas in Malaysia. Flooding phenomena causes a lot damages to the soil. So, it affects the agricultural field and results in economic losses. with a general idea of plant-soil fungi mutual relationship, the flooded soil (FS)can be recovered. Thus, soil containing Arbuscular Mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) is used in this study for flooded soil recovery. According to previous research AMF is a common soil fungi that contributed in soil nutrients recovery. Soil containing AMF (SA) is collected at a domestic vegetable garden. The flooded soil recovery (FSR) is achieved by mixing the FS with SA at optimum condition.
