• Water is a valuable resource and a main factor in the livelihoods of humans and other living organisms. Finding new water sources and making maximum use of water are essential to mankind. Therefore, this study aimed to develop a prototype of a water production system for farmers. There was the integration of ground cooling with solar energy. The project has been achieved in accordance with the objectives in terms of designing, building, and testing the water production from the air. on-grid system with an installed capacity of 5.1 kW. The water generator or condenser uses a total of 12 panels of a cross-flow heat exchanger. Evaluation of the performance of a prototype water production system from the air with a maximum water production of 199.8 liters per day at an air flow rate of 10 m³/h. The highest water production rate averaged in the range of 7–10 L/h in the early evening, followed by the night, morning, and afternoon, respectively. The highest cost of water production was estimated at 2.36-2.61 baht/L, with a payback period in the range of 3.38–3.78 years.
