Cement Mortar with eco-friendly admixture

autorzy: Marlena Rudner, Łukasz Sadowski, Adrian Chajec

The subject of the invention is a plaster mortar with increased strength, adhesion and absorption properties, intended for the production of internal and external plaster coatings on typical construction substrates. It consists of a cement-lime plaster mortar and waste granite powder that modifies the properties of the mixture. Granite flour is a waste material created during the cutting and splitting of granite stones. As a result of the addition of 10% of flour in relation to the weight of the ready-made dry mortar, an increase in compressive strength by 84.33% and tensile strength by 133.33% was obtained in relation to the reference sample. The highest increase in adhesion was recorded for the substrate from Silka and amounted to 166.67% of the reference value. The value of the absorption coefficient of the mortar with 10% addition of granite flour was 87.5% of the value of the sample without the addition. Thus, the absorption properties of the mortar were improved. Undoubtedly, the subject of the invention allows to improve the parameters of cement-lime plaster. The invention is exemplary in embodiments Example 1 The composition of the composition: - component A - cement-lime mortar with a bulk density of 1.106 g/cm3 in the amount of 90.90% by weight. Component A includes: • hydrated lime/calcium hydroxide with a bulk density of 2.4 g/cm3 - in the amount of 16% by weight, • Portland cement CEM I 32.5 R with a bulk density of 3.2 g/cm3 - in the amount of 10.67% by weight, • quartz sand with a grain size of 0-2 mm and a bulk density of 2.2 g/cm3 in the amount of 73.33% by weight. - component B - filler in the form of granite powder, preferably with a bulk density of 1.106 g/cm3 and a particle diameter of 0.08±0.06 mm in the amount of 9.10% by weight. The mortar for the ready-to-use form is prepared in such a way that at Using a rotary mixer, components A and B are thoroughly mixed. Then, to the mixture of these two components A and B, tap water is added in the amount of 20% by weight. of dry components A and B. Components A and B together with water are further mixed until a homogeneous consistency is obtained. The temperature of components A, B during mixing was 21±2oC.
