Regenerative farming is important for conserving natural ecosystems which it partly enables fixing biodiversity erosion and climate change to feed approximately 10 billion people by 2050. The additional food produce from agriculture should be planted with minimum net expansion of agricultural land. Soil is a non-renewable resource and maintenance of its productivity is a collective responsibility of the human populace living anywhere in the world. Our innovation transforms high carbon and high nitrogen in unwanted agro-industrial wastes such as zeolites, slag, vegetables, fruits, pineapple, and peat waste into high quality soil organic and inorganic conditioners. When the conditioners are applied to marginal soils before and during crop cultivation, the conditioners are able to restore soil productivity, improved crop yield and quality in addition to increasing farmers’ income. Our innovation could contribute to achieving food security and net profit of farmers without compromising the quality of the environment.
