Online service for the diagnosis and prevention of orthopedic diseases in Canis lupus familiaris

All domestic animals are an integral part of the city's ecosystem, especially representatives of the Canidae family. In modern society, they play their own, very complex and significant social roles that help diverse professionals to do their job. The solution to the problem of the state of health of pets is at the same time the solution to the social problem of the relationship between man and animal. One of the most difficult problems associated with the health of a dog is the pathology of the musculoskeletal system, which is hereditary, difficult to diagnose and treat, and most importantly, have very serious consequences. The research work solves the problem - the development of a method for the early diagnosis of orthopedic diseases Canis lupus familiaris. The problems of diagnosing and treating genetic pathologies in dogs are fully correlated with those in humans. Therefore, while developing a diagnostic and preventive model in C. familiaris, we simultaneously solve the same aspects, but already in Homo sapiens. The object of the study is individuals of Canis familiaris Linnaeus, 1758, which can be affected by orthopedic diseases. The subject of the study is the features of diagnosing skeletal pathologies in dogs of all ages, breeds and sexes. The goal of the project is to develop a methodology for the early diagnosis of the main OD in C. familiaris. According to the goal, the following tasks were set: analyze the scientific literature on the problem under study for previous years; find out the genetic factors leading to the development of genetic diseases; establish the dependence of their development on the breed and sex of the animal; create a public web resource for preliminary diagnosis of OD; develop a diagnostic and preventive card of a new type. To achieve the research goal, the scientific literature was studied, the dependence of the development of some orthopedic diseases on the constitution and weight of the animal was analyzed, the age and sex inclinations of dogs were determined. In the practical part of the work, genetic factors leading to the development of orthopedic diseases are determined - chromosome pools and corresponding groups of genes, the expression or violation of which leads to the development of congenital orthopedic pathologies in animals, regardless of their age and body type. Clinical studies with an experimental group of animals were carried out on the basis of the Dingo Veterinary Center. The study identified all typical clinical cases of diseases of the musculoskeletal system (MS) in C. familiaris; all stages of ortophedic pathologies in animals of all ages and breeds have been studied. The obtained data were processed using appropriate statistical methods. The gender characteristics of diseases are considered and described separately, the tendency in female animals is studied. An author's diagnostic card has been developed containing a self-developed multiplatform web resource for the preliminary diagnosis of six diseases, along with radiography, tomography and the Ortolani test. This diagnostic method allows the owner to check the health of his pet for various OD without leaving home, which helps to save not only time, but also money on the treatment of possible complications.
