ZoP Enhancement of Microprocessor-based Attendance Monitoring of Students in Manila Science High School

Roll calls, log book are examples of how Manila Science High School records attendance. The researchers have thought on making a microprocessor-based device which will serve as an aid in monitoring attendance, parents will be also informed if their child entered or left the school via automated SMS, likewise manual SMS will be used for other purposes. Webserver, another product which will serve as the manipulator of the device. Tests were performed, held in MSHS entrance. Testing shows that the device is efficient to use, the data were precisely stored, and all the SMS, both automated and manual were sent to the parents. The purpose of this is to test the efficiency of the device to send SMS and the accuracy to record data.
