Atmospheric conditions monitoring system for smart cities

The wireless sensor network has the ability to determine carbon monoxide, dust, temperature and humidity levels along with the respective locations. The prototype could be easily modified to determine other air pollutants such as sulfur dioxide, particulate matter etc. All of these data can be instantly accessed through the mobile application. The data transmission of the transceiver system is enabled by LoRa technology. The connections are reliable up to 10 km distance. All the gathered data are stored in firebase and the past data will be used for future air quality predictions which will be done as an extension of the current project. The mobile application is currently designed for android based platforms. But, it could easily developed for any other platform.
