Intelligent Gateway & IoT Sensing System for Power Grid Assets Utilization Management

The objective is to create an asset management database for the conventional high-voltage substations (aged substation). This will be achieved by collecting large amounts of data from all devices, including older equipment, by using IoT sensors or in-house developed IoT devices (TU). The signals from these sensors will be converted to a Standard Digital Protocol (IEC 61850), or alternatively, new sensors may be developed. The collected data will be transmitted to the main equipment database of high-voltage substations, enabling users to apply these data for management purposes.
